I am happy to be able to release our new Award Winning Act Club Horror Movie ‘Enemies Close’.
We were part of the 48 Hour Film Festival and registered both in Los Angeles for Enemies Close and Inland Empire for a second movie called ‘Power of Money’. Enemies Close and Power of Money both won Audience Choice Awards at the 48 Hour Film Screenings.
So, with 48 hours to film it is a lot of work but with amazing talented people from Act Club and our Director Ryan R. Williams, we were able to pull it off and we were very happy with Enemies Close.
We were in place in downtown Los Angeles on a Friday night in a loft provided by Andrea Mai-Tran, and at 7:30pm we were given the theme of the movie which was ‘Horror’ – I never really watch horror movies but needed to do a great job for the part I got. So, I did my best being as scarey as possible and from what I hear it paid off. 🙂
We shot through the whole night and ended up shooting at Joe Fidlers place as well which is where my scene is shot. I had the responsibility to find our ‘prop’ which we were told had to be a wrapped present. Not easy finding a box big anough for me to fit in just before all the stores close, but I was happily able to pull it off. We ended winning best use of prop as well so definitely worth while.
As all the actors where done shooting Saturday morning, Ryan still had to edit the movie which he did till sunday afternoon – pheeew! 🙂
I am happy to be part of such great team as Act Club and looking forward to many more shoots.
